Brekz Platform Overview¶
Welcome to the Brekz System Overview.
This document provides a high-level description of the Brekz ecosystem, including all major services, applications, and their interactions.
Platform Purpose¶
The Brekz platform is a modular, service-oriented ecosystem designed to manage our e-commerce operations, customer interactions, inventory, and marketing automation.
Our architecture promotes scalability, flexibility, and maintainability by decoupling responsibilities across independent services.
Core Components¶

| brekz-prestashop | Handles the core e-commerce engine and product catalog based from 2012 |
| brekz-website (new) | Frontend storefront built with modern web technologies. since 2025 |
| brekz-copernica | Manages marketing automation and customer journeys. |
| brekz-exact-api | Synchronises financial data with Exact Online with orders and product information from the brekz-prestashop |
| brekz-ergonode | Product Information Management (PIM) system for managing product attributes and data. Will be replaced in the future by Prestashop |
| brekz-logistics | The logistics departments after orders have been placed. |
| brekz-shop-backend | The logistics departments after orders have been placed. |
| brekz-mobile-payment | Backend services supporting the Brekz payment mobile apps. |
| brekz-app | The Brekz web-based native mobile applications for iOS and Android. |
